Kund( Kulgam) March 6 Kulgam police on Thursday answered theft case within 15 hours and recovers stolen property in South Kashmir’s Kulgam quarter.
A Police prophet said, “ Police station Kund had entered an operation from one Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat Son of Ab Rashid Bhat of Churat Qazigund to the effect that who bought Number of popular trees from Waltengoo area in Kund for business purpose and after cutting in shape of logs, which where ditched in road side at Waltango nad were stolen during intermediating night of 4/ 5- March.
Consequently case FIR No. 05/2025 U/ S 303( 2), 3( 5), 49, 191( 2) BNS was registered at PS Kund and fast track disquisition was taken up by Police Kulgam.
During the course of disquisition, after emphatic sweats and analysis of substantiation, the Police platoon led by SHO P/ S Kund following the directions from SSP Kulgam under the close supervision of Addl SP. NHW and SDPO Qazigund have recovered all the stolen property( popular Timber logs) which worth to Rs about 4 lacs within 15 hours, from one bandsaw shop in Oukh Pulwama ”.
He said restrained indicted linked as 1. Manzoor Ahmad Deeder, 2 Muneer Deeder, 3 Mohd Haneef deedar sons of Rajwali Deeded Resident of Nigeenpora Nard, 4. Basharat Tandha Son of Mohd Shafi Tandha 5. Rakesh Kumar Resident of shimla Himachal pradesh, Dealer of Popular Timbers Pulwama 6. Mushtaq Ah Laway
Son of Ab Gani, 7 Mudasir Maqbool Laway Son of Mohd Maqbool of Kakapora Oukh in Pulwama arrested along with vehicle( 2007) cargo carrier with out no plate and with out enrollment seized.
According to Police, Three other persons involved in in the crime are lamming while police are working hard to arrest them who have been linked as 1 Mohd Shafi tendha son of Mohd Yaqoob tendha 2Mohd Shafi Tendha son of Laaldin tendha 3Mohd Haneef Awaan Son of Rajwali all residers of Waltangoo.
