Budgam, Mar 2 In a continued crackdown against the medicine imminence, Budgam Police arrested medicine huckster in Magam area and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Police Party headed by HC Ghulam Mohi- ud- noise of Police Station Magam during Naka checking duty at Aripanthan interdicted one suspicious person who tried to flee from the spot, but was tactfully restrained by police party and during his particular hunt 03 sticks of charas like substance wrapped in sludge cocoon importing about 61 grams was recovered from his possession. latterly, he was arrested on the spot for further course of action as per law and during questioning he revealed his identity as Ishfaq Ahmad Ganie S/ o Ghulam Mohammad Ganie R/ o Saranhal Batpora Budgam.
Consequently, a Case FIR No. 33/2025 U/ S 8/20 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Magam and disquisition has been set into stir.
