Two Domestic Houses Damaged in Fire Mishap in Anantnag; One Fireman Injured
Two double- storey domestic houses were damaged and one fireman was injured in a fire mishap at Kadipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag quarter on Wednesday evening.
An functionary told news agency JKNS that the fire broke out suddenly, spreading fleetly and causing expansive damage to the upper portions of both houses.
Fire tenders, Jammu and Kashmir Police labor force, and original residers instantly launched a common operation to contain the dears and help them from spreading to near structures. After sustained sweats, the fire was successfully extinguished.
He added that the affected houses belonged to Manzoor Ahmad Nanwaye and the late Abdul Majeed Nanwaye.
Unfortunately, one fireman videlicet Muhammad Shafi Bhat was injured in the incident and was incontinently rushed to GMC Anantnag for treatment. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, functionary said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an disquisition to ascertain the cause of the fire.
